Year 9 Options Information
At Parliament Hill School Year 9 students select their GCSE options in the Spring Term. Students have been given a number of assemblies from the option subjects and these will continue throughout this half term.
The Options Booklet (link above) contains information about all Option subjects and details of the process this term. Students will be given a copy of this booklet on Friday Jan 14th 2022 in their tutor period. The booklet contains details of the form to fill in to choose their options but students will complete their options selection form on-line on Teams.
The online form will be made available to the students from Wed 19th January 2022. This is when we will hold the Options Afternoon where students will have an opportunity to speak to the teachers and ask questions about their subjects. Later that day we will hold a Zoom presentation for parents from Ms Creasey. In addition, subject leads will share videos via Teams describing their subjects. Students and parents will be able to watch these in their own time.
Year 9 Parents evening is on Thursday 3rd February 2022 and this will be an opportunity for students and parents to ask any subject specific questions.
The deadline for completing the options form on Teams is Thursday 10th February 2022.
