Congratulations to Lila on her personal best at the Haringey Mini Marathon

Our student Lila, a talented young athlete from Haringey, has delivered an outstanding performance at this year’s TCS Mini London Marathon, achieving a personal best and representing her borough with pride.

Lila was selected to take part in the event - one of just four athletes chosen in her Under-14 age group through a competitive local selection process. The Mini Marathon offers young runners aged 11–17 the opportunity to compete on the official London Marathon course, making it a highly sought-after event for aspiring athletes.

On Saturday 25th April, Lila rose to the occasion, completing the 2.6km course in an impressive time of 10:57 - her fastest time to date.

Her achievement reflects both her dedication to training and her determination on race day. Being selected to represent Haringey is an accomplishment in itself, and Lila’s performance marks a significant milestone in her athletic journey.
