Parli makes PPE

Parliament Hill School’s DT department has answered the call to produce vital PPE for key workers.  The department’s 3D Printer worked remotely alongside Technician Chris Garcin’s own machine to make specific parts for a face shield. This is the focus of 3D Crowd UK’s initiative to produce and supply this much needed piece of equipment to front-line workers at NHS Trusts, Care Homes and Pharmacies.  A staggering quantity of face shields have already been produced from high-tech multi machine production companies to individual makers. 

Other department production initiatives underway include the production of scrubs and laundry bags for a Hertfordshire hospital. We have our own community Sewing Bee!
