Year 10 visiting BFI, Southbank - 14th Jan 2026

Year 10 Media Studies students had the exciting opportunity to visit the iconic BFI on Southbank for an event on Newspapers. Students gained an in-depth understanding of the Newspaper industry and how news brands use Media Language to create meaning and appeal to their specific audiences.

Students even had the chance to ask the Senior Editor of The Guardian some questions about the inner-workings of the publication and learn more about their mission of championing diversity in the industry.
