Welcome to BBC Young Reporter Club!
Above: (L-R) Ms Home, Zoe, Millie, Avigea, Jess, Primavera, and Year 13 Film & Media student Pollyanna at the Young Reporter Awards, BBC Broadcasting House, March 2020.
We have assembled a team of keen reporters and look forward to bringing you news, reviews, features and thought-provoking opinion pieces throughout the year. During the autumn term we have been exploring different types of news articles; below is a selection of articles from our Young Reporters so please have a read!
Ms Home would like to invite all interested students to have a go at a Young Reporter Summer Project - click here for details. This is open to new students, existing Young Reporters and anyone else who would like to get involved; we'd love to hear from the new Year 7s! We'll be sharing our projects when school returns in September.
In the spring term we started making podcasts. Have a listen to our piece on what Young Reporter is all about:
You can read more about this year's Young Reporter Competition and watch some of the winning stories here.
